Description

Ira Brown, a recognized Microsoft Project expert, continues his popular series on automating Microsoft Project by showing you how to create a custom Project Initiation Wizard using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).  This fun and informative presentation will show you how to design a VBA form that can be used to create a new project.  You don’t need to be a programmer to attend this session, as the presentation and examples are geared toward the business user.  This session provides practical, real-world illustrations for solving common business challenges a user faces when working with Microsoft Project to initiate a new project.

Topics include:

  • Designing a VBA form for the Project Initiation Wizard
  • Using the wizard to populate Enterprise Project attributes
  • Creating automation to save your project using your organization’s standard naming conventions

The presentation and the VBA code created during this session will be emailed to attendees upon request.

Ira has over fifteen years experience helping organizations implement Enterprise Project Management solutions, and is a widely published author of several Microsoft Project books.
