Calling all MPUG members! A major advantage of your membership in the only user group for Microsoft Office Project is the chance to link up with others who share your professional interests through events -- both in person and online. The new website makes it easy to specify which MPUG chapters you want to stay informed about. Here's how:

1. Login at http://www.mpug.com. If you don't have a user name and password, use your first initial and last name, then click "Forgot Password." The information will be emailed to you.

2. Navigate to your "MySite," if you're not already there.

3. In the left menu select "Join Chapter(s)."

4. You can join almost as many chapters as you wish -- up to 25! -- by placing a checkmark in the appropriate boxes.

At the bottom of the page, click Continue.

5. Now you should see the chapters listed on the left navigation menu of your MPUG MySite. In turn, choose the one you'd like to receive events for.

Then click on Calendar in the center of the page.

6. Under Actions, click on Alert Me. Specify options or simply click on OK.

You're all set. Now, when an event is added or the details are changed, you'll be notified by email.

Want to unsubscribe from a chapter site? (Sure, you're allowed to change your mind -- it happens!)

1. From your MPUG My Site, click on "Join Chapter(s)" in the left navigation.

2. Uncheck the chapter name you would like to unsubscribe from.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue.
