Product Summary:

P2O an application that allows you to export a selection of tasks directly from Project into an Outlook as either calendar items or meeting requests. It helps ensure that Project Managers and Stakeholders are aligned on Project tasks.

Effective communications and an understanding of what each user should be doing and when is an absolute requirement for delivering a project on time. P2O enables this communication by allowing you to export tasks from Project to Outlook and keep them in synchronisation as they change in Project.

P2O is an add-in that works with Microsoft Project and delivers the following benefits:

  • Export Project Tasks to Outlook Calendar
  • Export Project Tasks as Meeting Requests
  • Project task selection based upon any Project Filter
  • Allows the user to select the free/busy status
  • Synchronises Project tasks to your mobile device using Outlook synch
  • Puts all your Project work into a single calendar
  • Allows effective communication with your team

P2O can also:

  • Create and assign an Outlook Category for the exported tasks
  • Combine the Project and Task name to form Outlook Subject
  • Use the Project Summary name as the Outlook Location
  • Copy Task Notes into the Outlook Body

  1. Testing this P2O and it seems to do exactly what we were looking for and that is create tasks which show up in outlook and remind us of the things that need to be done on the project in regard to the schedule that we created. This interaction is going to be so beneficial to both the PM/APM on the projects. This will keep things running on time without having to manually set up task reminders. Will test it a bit more before purchasing – but is already looks like a winner!

  2. Works perfectly and is a very economical plug-in. MS Project should have this as a built-in feature in my opinion.
