Learn how to meet your organizations need for automation of business process and enforcement of Project Portfolio Management governance through the powerful new workflow capabilities in Project Online/Server 2013.  Scott Clausen and Jacques Goupil of PPM Works, Inc will provide recommendations, demonstrate the steps for designing, building and implementing Project Server workflows for Project Online/Server 2013.  Come learn how to unleash the power of workflow with Microsoft’s Enterprise Project solutions.

This 3-hr session split across two days, will provide you the knowledge and information to understand, create, and manage Project Server/Online workflows.  We will cover the benefits of Microsoft Project workflows, assist you to understand the workflow functionality set within the products (Project Online and Project Server), guide you through the necessary pieces to creating successful workflows, and providing you with a Workflow Checklist, that you can use when you create your own Project Server/Online Workflows.  We will also cover advanced workflow topics and capturing Ideation within your organization.

  7. Advanced Workflow Actions (Portfolio Approval and Modifying Project Fields)
  8. Ideation from SharePoint Lists (if time permits)

Jacques Goupil, PMP, MCP, MCTS, is the Business Development Managing  Director at PPM Works, Inc.,  a consultancy focused on delivering project, portfolio, and business management solutions.   1. Can you post the Excel worksheet used in the demo workflow? This looks to be a very useful approach to workflow design.

  2. This session was quite informative, having missed the last .5h it was good to have a review. Of note is a break in the recording at about 1:09:30, video resumed about 1:13:12 and video and sound were available at 1:13:29. In spite of this, I was able to follow thru the entire program having been present for the 2nd session.

  5. I thought this webinar was supposed to be 90 minutes. It was only 38.53 minutes and left me hanging for some very valuable information. I’m not able to submit webinar history either.

    Once the video has completed in its entirety the submit button will activate allowing you to click it to submit the session to your webinar history.
