Upcoming Webinar: Five Must-Dos to Be A PMI-PMP

On the road to PMP success, there are no shortcuts.

The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) remains one of the most valuable certifications in the world. It was launched in 1984 and has endured for nearly forty years, which very few certifications can claim. As of February 28, 2023, there are over 1.3 million PMPs worldwide, which is shown in the below figure.

Now, 1.3M looks like a large number, but that’s actually not the case. In many instances, PMI has reported that the number of exam takers runs into thousands per week. In other words, millions and millions of professionals have tried to clear the exam, but very few could do so!

I regularly interact with management professionals across industry verticals who are working as Engineering Leads, Project and Program Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents and CXOs. The common desire is to crack the PMP exam, but they also struggle to earn the PMP certification – even with decades of experience!

As a matter of fact, the success rate in the PMP examination is low. You may be wondering why that is. Perhaps you have the following questions in mind:

  • Is the exam really that tough?
  • Is there any particular material to refer to?
  • What are the areas of focus for the PMP exam?
  • Where should one spend money on exam prep to get the best ROI?

There is another surprise element. You’d have noticed that there are thousands of PMP providers, spread around the world. Considering the advertisements, celebrity endorsements (ironically, who rarely open a book!), discounted prices (sometimes 90%) and millions getting trained, you’d think there are tens of millions of PMPs. As we already saw, the reality is quite different.

And truth be told, China now has a largely similar number of PMPs when compared with the United States. This happened in less than twenty years!

Welcome to the webinar illuminating Five Must-Dos to Be a PMI-PMP. Although there are many things one can do to become a PMI-PMP, this webinar will focus on the five most important things. As the name indicates, if you fail to do these, your chances of being a PMP remain low. But the good news is that the reverse is equally true.

In my upcoming webinar on April 19, 2023, we will mainly discuss these top five items, along with the value of being a PMP and training opportunities for PMP certification. See the link below for more details, and to register.

Meet Your Host: Satya Narayan Dash

For over a decade, I’ve trained, coached, and mentored thousands of professionals who come with a dream to be a PMP. I’m happy to inform you that thousands have cracked the PMP exam with my guidance. Some of them continue to learn and join my management review sessions regularly.

You can read about their path to realizing their PMP dreams here: PMP Success Stories.

Finally, to be a PMP is not easy, but it’s definitely possible. To be a PMP, you don’t need decades of experience, but real project management expertise. Being a PMP is not about money, but mindset; not about multiple books and courses, but the right content; not about quantity of hours spent, but quality of hours invested.

I hope to meet you in this exclusive event, where we will learn the five must-dos to be a PMP.
