Event Description:

Exploring VBA: Microsoft Project’s Macro Language

Ira Brown will deliver this fun and informative three-part series that will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the automation capabilities of Microsoft Project. The session is geared toward a Microsoft Project business user and will provide practical, real-world illustrations for solving common challenges a user faces with Microsoft Project.

The initial session will provide an overview of working within the VBA environment, including the basics of recording and editing VBA macros. We will produce several useful macros together, and also learn how to assign a macro to a custom ribbon button.  Once we’ve covered the fundamentals, Ira will demonstrate how to use VBA to create custom, user-friendly forms as a front end for your VBA functionality. In the final session of this series, you will learn how to use VBA to integrate Microsoft Project with other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

* Using VBA to integrate Microsoft Project with Word
* Using VBA to integrate Microsoft Project with PowerPoint
