Edwin, interesting question. I’ve never read or heard of this before so I did some of my own testing. Unfortunately I’m getting the same results you are. Project 2010 opens the project where I left off and 2013 opens at task 1. I do not have an answer other than it’s a change (or bug) with 2013.
