Hey Rich;
The easiest way to do what you’re looking for is to add a Lag to the relationship between the task and the Launch task. So, for example, Task A is a 14 day task that has a FS relationship to the Launch task with a Lag of 30 days.

If Task A in my example needs to finish 14 days before Launch, meaning it can’t finish 65 days before Launch, then code Task A with a constraint of As Late as Possible. If you do this, Task A will be pushed as late as possible in the schedule but because of the 14 day lag before Launch, the end date of Task A will end up being 14 days before Launch.
