Try it and see! You didn’t tell us which version of Project you’re using, but from the Print Preview window select Page Setup. In the dialog, select the Header (or Footer) tab. Click the drop down arrow next to Project Fields, and select he custom field (eg Text1) in which you have put your version info, and then Add/OK. That should do it!
