If Edits to total task % complete will be spread to the status date is checked, I wanted to know
a) which cases should this option be checked?
b) In https://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/341/91828140.png/ the 5 days task with 40 hours is scheduled before the status date and is set to 50% complete. Before this option is cleared, the 50% is divided as 20%, 20% and 10% with actual work as 8 hours, 8 hours, 4 hours. If this option is checked, the 50% is divided as 10% for all the 5 days with the actual work as 8 hours, 8 hours, 4 hours. This looks odd as how can we say the task is 10% complete on each day by the work is 8 hours per day.
