Critical Path Bars on Gantt Disappear

When I toggle the “critical task” checkbox to off the critical path bars in the Gantt chart disappear. I want them to remain but show up to match a normal “task” bar.

I don’t understand your question. The ‘critical’ checkbox will toggle the highlighting of tasks that have zero float (ie. critical). Honestly there are many problems with the critical path implementation that are well documented here so you might want to use one of the macros on Tom Boyle’s web site https://boyleprojectconsulting.com/tomsblog/2018/10/24/what-is-the-longest-path-in-a-project-schedule/.
