I’ve uncovered a problem with our Project Server setup in Business Intelligence where all Template RDB reports error with “[DBNET LIB][ConnectionOpen Connect()).] SQL Server does not exist or access denied] error” when you click on them. This problem only exists on the template reports, not the OLAP reports. I’ve tracked the problem down to the called Data Source in the ODC’s for these reports as being only the alias instead of servernamealias. However, I can’t seem to find any references on how to fix this aside from manually correcting the data source in each ODC individually (concerned a patch or update might wipe out the manual change). Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere where you can correct the data source for the ODC’s for all Template RDB reports?
