      I am looking for a way to have a project number generated when a new project is added. I know the system creates it own project ID entry but this is not every user friendly. Is there anything in PWA that can do this?

      Norman, this long awaited feature is now available in Project Online. Otherwise you can do it in a workflow. If you are not currently using workflows then this might be a big step for you.       Norman,
      Our organization uses a SharePoint list and each list entry defines a single project. We then take the SharePoint entry number and use that as our MS Project schedule ID #.
