Hi All and Happy Friday.
I have a project that I’m (for the first time ever) using resource leveling. Trying to understand how project calculates the number so I can interpret its meaning. If project displays 24ehrs as the leveling delay, should I interpret that as:
1) a three business day delay (given an 8 hour work day)?
2) a one business day delay (given 24 hours per day)?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
Robert, glad to see you’re giving leveling a try. It takes a bit to learn and be comfortable with it, but if you can get through that you’ll never go back. There are several MPUG recorded webinars that can help, including a three-part series I did a while back. It was a while ago but the function hasn’t changed.
Now, about that ehrs. Not sure where you are seeing that but e means elapsed which means all time. So, 24 ehrs is a 24 hour day, even if it isn’t a business day.
Hope that helps…
Thanks, Larry. That is the answer that I thought it was… just need to know for sure. Have a great weekend.
