      Is there a way to assign background shading to Summary task. I know to do this on the Ghantt Chart. I would like to distinguish the different project phases and sub-phases without manually adjusting the font?

      Yes you can. From a Gantt chart or Task Sheet, select the Format menu, and select Text Styles. Select Summary Tasks from the Items to Change dropdown and format them as you wish. Hope that helps…
