      I’m fairly new to the Project and I was wondering if there is way to insert a task or milestone as predecessor into middle of a certain task?
      I don’t think splitting a task is an answer…

      Newbie but not a newbie question. Project provides a couple of solutions. You can adjust when the successor task starts by using either a number of days or a percent.
      Task 1 with a negative lag of 3 days: 1FS-2 days
      Task 1 at 50% of task 1 duration: 1FS-50%
