I am trying to use the “My Work” function to update tasks assigned to me, the page groups the tasks it shows tasks for a current period, and tasks at a future period… anyone know how to remove the “Planning Window – periods of time”?
I was looking at your article on Automatically Approve Task Status Updates.” Once the task has been approved, and the % Complete is updated in the schedule, I notice that the individual schedule still needs to be published for all the updated items to be pushed through. Is there any auto way to publish, rather than to open up every schedule to do so??
Also, I am looking for a on-line MSP Training program and I have seen the one offered by MS Project Experts, do you have any you would recommend?
Joe, this is available out of the box in Project Server 2010, but not in 2007. There are a few third party tools that can provide this for you if you are using 2007, or you can program yourself. I assume a search will give you options. I know of a couple but haven’t used them so prefer not to make a recommendation.
