I have an immediate need for a contract project manager to set up several projects in MS Project. Ideally, this person would be local to the Seattle area, as we would also like them to provide some basic training in how to make small updates as schedules shuffle.

Here is an example of one of the more complex projects:
    * It has 33 task categories involving 4-5 people (some tasks are just 1 person, some are 2, but ultimately at least 4 would be involved),
    * Some tasks have dependencies on other tasks,
    * Some task categories may involve multiple discrete tasks but I think most of them are 1:1, and
    * There are some hard costs (parts).

There are 3 projects that are in this range of complexity. In addition to those 3 projects, there are a couple that are less than half that size and 5 more that are small and simple.

Please contact me with your rate and a time estimate if you’re interested in this contract opportunity. Thanks!

Valerie, not sure how to contact you directly from this post or group but it sounds pretty doable from your description. I’m from Minneapolis but if you are haven’t found anyone local feel free to reach out. It sounds like a fun project (lchristofaro@epmsolutionpartners.com). Thanks…Larry

Thanks, Larry! I’ll give it a week to see if I can find someone in Seattle to do the setup. If not, I’ll get back to you next week.

That sounds like a very light load of work actually. I work in construction on commercial projects so this should be pretty easy. Contact me at dmthurman@gmail.com. I am in Seattle during the week.
