      Hi,

      I noticed that there is in the new version of MSP 2010 a clear understanding between assignment and peak units. where as in the ealier versions of MSP, the resource names (including number of units assigned) was clearly shown in the Gantt Chart. Is it possible however, to show the peak units in any way next to the bar (using format – bar styles)?

      The Assignment and Peak units are part of the Assignment section of Microsoft Project 2010 and are not available for display on the Task section of the tool.   You can however insert the column on the Task Usage view to see the Peak units.
