      Do you task your PM’s with all project administration duties including resource planning?  If not, how have you split the responsibilities?

      We have project analysts that maintain the working schedule.  The project manager develops and maintains a high level IMS.  The working schedule gets down to the tasks, budgets, resources, milestone dates, all fixed work, contractual awarded budgets.

      Elizbeth,

      Is the PM responsible to the stakeholders and sponsors?  Do adjustments to the working schedule come from the PM or anyone involved in the project?
