Hi,
I hoping someone can help me. Projects are not opening up when a uer goes into PWA site -> project center-> click on a project. can someone give me some direction on what the problem could be. this is a new problem we are expreincing.
Thanks,
Patti
Patti,
I’ll take a stab at it based on what you stated. Make sure that the group has the Open Project category permission selected. If that doesn’t work can you provide additional information? What is it doing? Is there an error? Does this happen with all users and groups? Thanks…
Hi,
Thank you for responding, I looked at the group permissions and all seem to normal. evreryone is affected by this, not sure what happened we really have problems with our project server. When anyone goes into project center via PWA site, we can see the projects listed. its when you clcik on the projec to look at the details is what comes up blank. I have no errors anywhere, which is the most frustating part. Any other suggetions would be great help.

My guess is that somebody with admin level permissions removed the Project Details” webpart from the page.
try this:
This should restore the webpart for all users.

Hi,
that seems to work i have all the details in the project once i click on it. so thank you! i thought this what the users was seeing, however from what i am told. the users click the project and was able to see the poject plan opened not the details. I am so sorry. is there some where in the webpart that can add that?
Thanks so much!
Patti
The only other thing I can think of (if you are not seeing any error message”) is to check the permissions on the “View” they are using.
as a first test, change it to something different and see if it works. If yes, then check the permissions on the View that does have the issue.
