Reports not sorting correctly

I use reports that contain tables (e.g. the milestones report) and I want to sort the rows into ascending date order. However, there are always a small number of rows that are out of sequence. I’m using the Sort By in the Field List dialogue box correctly, I have even tried changing the display format, but still can’t get it to sort accurately. It doesn’t seem to be a universal problem, so wondering if anyone has found a solution? If not, how does this get raised with Microsoft to get a fix?

I’m using Project Online Desktop Client, v 1803.
