      Hi out there I need to create a regular Portfolio Resource Heat Map for Board level discussion. I anticipate using Project for the base data and possibly Excel or more likely Power BI Desktop for the presentation layer. I have 2016 and Power BI desktop installed and I am looking for an idiots guide to facilitate my learning. is there anyone out there who has or knows of a suitable resource / book / text / web cast to assist me

      Bob, you are certainly on the right track with what you want to do. When you say Project I assume you mean Project Server/Online? Unfortunately I don’t know of a nice “easy button” for learning. I can tell you that there are tons of online videos for Power BI. That’s where I got most familiar with the tool. Good luck. I’m also tagging this so I can be notified of any other suggestions…:-).
