Schedule Change impacts baseline cost

I am incorporating a schedule change to individual tasks, when I go to set the baseline for just the selected tasks the baseline cost changes becasue it is incorporating the actuals costs. How can I stop project from doing this? I used to get a warning icon that would allow me to choose between 2 options: Work required to do this task has increased so it will take longer or Resources will work fewer hours per day, so it willt take longer. This does not show up anymore and I have the the show warnings clicked on the Inspect area.

What version of project are you using?  There is a setting that allows it to show scheduling messages that may have been turned off.  Also, baseline costs can be rolled up to the Summary Tasks if that is your issue.  You might want to consider closing the tasks with the actuals and starting new baselined tasks without any actual costs.
