      We have 100 or so users using Project server 2013 and Riding on top of SharePoint 2013. Our COO is manipulating the environment every day. When he clicks tasks it churns and ultimately times out with “encountered an error”. I have checked his default ownership and he is the only name listed (I thought it might have been that he had ownership of hundreds of resources). I have emptied my bag of tricks. Do any of you have any suggestions?

      Brian, I can think of two possible issues, (1) he is associated to several projects where he is a Status Manager to lots of Generic Resource assignments (they tend to show up on his page), or (2) there is a corrupted task somewhere that the Tasks page can’t handle. I would check the logs and see what you can find. They can also provide some good information. Hope that helps…
