I have a colleague who is involved with a Project Server implementation. She has a question about Project Server.  Here it is:

I have a client who would like to automate the import of actual into Server.  Currently this is a 2-step process.  Team members submit their timesheets, and then the timesheets are routed to their functional managers for approval.  Once approved, the project manager must import the changes into Server.  Is there a way to automate this process so that once approval is received from the managers, the timesheets are automatically imported into Server without any action from the project manager?   When the project manager goes into Server, there will be some sort of notification to let the pm know that timesheets have been imported.

The project manager will then review the updates, analyze the impacts, etc. before committing the updates in Server.

BTW, this is a Project Server 2007 implementation.
