Text format for a task was changed (e.g. text color was changed from default black to green). Now the text color won’t change when the task becomes critical. It seems like a change in text overrides the conditional formatting used for Text Styles.
I would like to undo the task text format changes, go to the default format and allow Text Styles to format task formats.
Any suggestions? I think what I want to do is undo any previous formats and go to a default condition.
Thanks in advance for the help.

On the task ribbon choose “Clear” then “Clear Formatting”. Then, start over on the format ribbon “Format” then “Format Text Styles” to reset.

Mike, nice response (and simpler than what I was going to suggest). I do believe from the question that selecting all task and then Clear Formatting resets only the unique formatting. The text styles will stay applied.

Perfect- that worked. Its so simple when you learn there’s a button to do exactly what one wants.
    Thanks Mike.
