Microsoft is hosting a six-week free, massive, open online course about managing projects through MOOC platform edX. This is the same platform that hosts college courses from MIT, Stanford, Harvard and other A-list institutions.
“Managing Projects & Portfolios with Microsoft PPM” started on July 11 and runs for six weeks. Participants can expect to spend between two and four hours each week on course activities. (You can add a certificate for $49.) The instructors are all experts from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Trainers, Tom Allen and Jeanie Sanders, Instructional Designer Lindsay Bachman and certified Project Management Professional Thomas Sacco.
By the end of this course, the description promises, you’ll know how to perform resource capacity planning and tracking, how to exploit built-in Microsoft Office 365 collaboration capabilities and how to set up and customize solutions to meet specific business needs.
It’s not too late to register. Learn more on the edX website here.
