Microsoft has announced the winners of its annual partner of the year awards. Four companies were finalists in the realm of project and portfolio management and one was named as the winner in the category. Projectum, which offers training, consulting and services, was named the winner. The other three finalists were Ernst & Young LLP, Brazil-based Prosperi and U.S.-based Sensei Project Solutions.

The partner awards recognize those companies that demonstrate “excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.” The finalists and winners in 34 categories will be recognized during Microsoft Inspire, which takes place July 9-13 in Washington, D.C.

A total of 2800 self-nominations came in for categories ranging from cloud technology to philanthropic efforts to Windows and devices deployment.

“The 2017 Partner of the Year Award winners and finalists represent the most valued and innovative solutions within our partner community,” said Ron Huddleston, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner, in a prepared statement. “It’s an honor to recognize our top partners providing their expertise and solutions to solve complex business challenges. Congratulations to each winner and finalist on this tremendous achievement.”
