Performance Based Leadership

Let me start by asking a few questions…

  1. Do you want to get your projects done?
  2. Do you want people to enjoy working for you?
  3. Do you consider yourself a performance-based leader?

Project Managers need to be able to lead a team to achieve results on time and on budget.

Your team members may not have worked together before, and even if they have, they are by definition doing a project that is new. They may also still prioritize their regular jobs, and you need them to work on your project. So, it is particularly important that a Project Manager knows how to get people to do what needs to be done – and often under pressure.

The techniques I presented in my on-demand webinar Performance Based Leadershiphelp shed some light on how Project Managers can lead a team increasing individual and group performance. We see how important it is that you know how to positively lead people. The result will be that they enjoy working for you more, and that you’ll get your project done!
