This makes it much more difficult for hackers to access your account, even if they have your password. 3. **Be careful about what you click on.** Phishing emails and websites are designed to trick you into giving up your personal information. Be wary of any emails or websites that you don't recognize, and never click on links or attachments unless you're sure they're legitimate. 4. **Keep your software up to date.** Software updates often include security patches that fix vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers. Make sure to install software updates as soon as they're available. 5. **Use a VPN.** A VPN (virtual private network) encrypts your internet traffic, making it more difficult for hackers to eavesdrop on your online activities.
