      Hello,
I use the report “dashboard” in order to track the advancements of my projects, such as “project overview” or “burndown” to plot the cumulative percent complete versus time.
But…I would like to plot also the ‘’estimated’’ cumulative percent complete versus time.
I try to clarify what I mean by this quantity.
Think about a plan scheduled with different subtasks and a finish date: suppose that the total duration of this plan is 10 days.
The ’’estimated’’ cumulative percent complete versus time should be a graph that shows a value of 10% for the day 1, 20% for day 2 in order to get the target of 100% for day 10.
Plotting together the cumulative percent complete, I would know day by day (or month by month) if my plan is late or not.
I searched it but I didn’t found it, probably it doesn’t exist: could you confirm ?
Is it possible to create it?
      Regards
      Luca

Hi Luca. Unfortunately % Complete isn’t something that provides a timephased view. You two sets of fields that provide a timephased analysis are the Cumulative and Earned Value fields. Not sure either of them are what you are looking for. Maybe someone has another thought, but that’s my understanding.

        Hello Larry,
I’ve already used the “Cumulative percent complete” that provides me a timephased analysis: this is based on the percentage that every time I put in each task.
The point is that I want to compare it with a timephased graph which shows me the percent complete that automatically MP sets considering the finish date.
        Tell me if I’m clear.
        Regards
        Luca

Sorry Luca, you were clear. I wasn’t very clear with my answer. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution.
