I am looking for a web-based solution that allows a group an overview of several programs and associated sub-projects.  We can not use Projects enterprise solution.   We have looked at a company called Valley Speak, but it must not be legitmate as they never answer inquiries, etc.Can any of you recommend a software app that uses dashboards and lets you continue to use MS Project as your actual scheduling tool.

      Thanks!

      Kay,

Look at “Plan Further” and “PerformancePoint”

ValleySpeak has a 15 day trial that you may want to try.  I hadn’t heard of them but it “looks” good.

Project 2010 Pro has a really cool “Sync to Sharepoint” feature (you need Share Point 2010 but you don’t PWA for this).  BTW: To Synce to Share Point, you can’t have two or more summary tasks with the same name in them.

Here’s a link to one a MSDN Blog about this https://blogs.msdn.com/b/project/archive/2009/10/19/project-2010-introducing-sync-to-sharepoint.aspx and a Microsoft Train and Learn page: https://www.microsoft.com/project/en-us/sync-sharepoint.aspx

      See http:www.EPMLive.com

They offer a cloud based SharePoint Portfolio Management Solution with Dashboards ready to go out of the box.  You can upload MS Project schedules and it does not require Project Pro.

      Hello,

My company has developed a software called e4caster.

Is as a program Management dashboard that provides information that enables executives and decision makers to make quick and precise decision that result in lower program management costs and higher program success rates.

It looks so good and even more clean. It will show the status of MS Project workplans beautifully summarized on a web based dashboard.

Here is a link. What do you think?
