      Hello,

      I have a Project Site that keeps getting the error message below whenever we attempt to publish from MS Project 2010 client.
      Nothing we can go seems to fix the problem. Is there any tips for fixing this?
       “Your PublishNotifications job failed.  Its current state is FailedNotBlocking.  It was 0% complete.  It entered the queue at 03/09/2011 08:57:40.

       To get more information about the job failure, please goto Project Web App.  Select PersonalSettings from the left menu.  Then selectMy Queued Jobs.

       The errors returned from the queue are as follows:

       Error ID: 26000

      Detailed error below – send it to the administrator formore detailed troubleshooting.

      <?xml version=”1.0″encoding=”utf-16″?>

      <errinfo>

        <general>

          <classname=”Queue”>

            <errorid=”26000″ name=”GeneralQueueJobFailed”uid=”0754f77c-7eec-4f9b-ab51-f64d0c835eb9″JobUID=”efb5c490-45c7-462b-a4b0-64e2906eb56b”ComputerName=”AU-GLB-MSP04″GroupType=”PublishNotifications”MessageType=”ProjectPublishSendNotificationMessage”MessageId=”1″ Stage=”” />

          </class>

        </general>

      </errinfo>

       You can do the following:

      1. Try troubleshooting using the error IDs, error XML.

      2. Contact administrator with your jobID(efb5c490-45c7-462b-a4b0-64e2906eb56b) and error XML.

       To turn off these notifications, go to Project Web App,click Personal Settings on the left menu, and then click Manage My Alerts andReminders.

       From this page, you can clear the check box for thosenotifications you no longer want to receive.

      Ryan,
      Do you email setup for Project Server?  This message appears related to sending out email notifications.  Does your schedule appear to publish okay otherwise?

      Ryan,
      I have seen this in our 2007 Server implementation whenever the schedule contains resources that are no longer active.  Server tries to send notifications, but the email addresses are not active and it fails.
      I have my Project Managers go through and reassign tasks from inactive to active resources, republish the shcedule and this usually clears the error.
      Hope this helps.
      Jay
