    Is there a way to show a Duration, for example, 100 hours, but have a Start and Finish Date that may expand 3-4 months?  We just need to show the duration hours over a period of time (and the customer does not want it in a spreadsheet).

    I do not understand your question I’m afraid.
    Duration IS the time between start & finish…
    Do you mean effort of 100 hours spread over a period of 2 to 3 months? That’s what the Work field is for.

    , I meant effort (work) hours spread over a period of 2 to 3 months and not duration.

    you assign a resource either reduce units or specify the amount of work you want. So over 4w 80h of effort is units of 50%
