How to create formulas & stop light indicators based on % complete & start and finish dates. What I need is:
BLUE if % complete is 100%
GREEN if % complete is 99%
YELLOW if % complete is > 0 (started) and between start and finish dates
CLEAR if current date prior to scheduled start date
RED if % complete = 0 and current date is > or = start date (prefer to compare to pro-rated completion % between start and finish date but not sure how to do this without getting too complex)
RED if % complete < 99% and current date > finish date

    Hi all,

I am trying to add graphic indicators to my project plan following the instructions from the “ProjectWebv5.ppt” from Doug Bonebrake.

MS Project doesn’t let me insert the warning formula `IIf([% Complete]<100,Switch(([Number3]
<-5),3,[Number3]>=-5 And [Number3]<0,2,[Number3]>=0,1),3)` . I get a syntax error for the function “Switch”. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I tried this and it worked for me. IIf([% Complete]<100,Switch(([Number3]<-5),3,[Number3]>=-5 And [Number3]<0,2,[Number3]>=0,1),3)

Thanks John for testing. That’s strange. I can’t get this formula working in my MS Project 2010.

Book taxi to Brussels Airport (BRU). Comfortable taxi transfer to / from Brussels Airport. AtoB airport taxi will comfortably take you anywhere in Belgium.
