      Dear Team,

Is it possible in any views in MSP to see only Gantt chart and nothing else after I create my schedule ? I was asked this question in today’s Interview

Not sure what u mean by “nothing else” but there is the standard Gantt View that u can tailor however you want by deleting / adding columns from the stock field list.

True sir. That was what I told him. What the Interviewer was actually asking me was that he doesn’t want to see the activity list in the standard Gantt view. But if we hide the columns in the stock field list, the last column remains unhidden, whatever that may be (In Gantt view). Same way, I tried Tracking Gantt and Levelling Gantt view also, but the last column doesn’t hide itself in the stock field list. He wanted to see only Gantt chart and no other data on the screen

Have u tried just pulling the sliding dividing bar in the middle of the screen, all the way to the left? That will cover the columns and and only display the chart. Hope that helps!

True. I did that and showed it to him then and there. But he was not satisfied with my answer. Maybe there is no method to do it I guess.

hmmm… well, that’s all there is outside of just printing a PDF of the Gantt and displaying that 🙂

Even when I printed a PDF and showed him, one column still remained. Couldn’t satisfy him.

oh boy. how about this: slide the divider bar all the way to the left. Screen capture that, and put in a preview window. ha!
