      Dear colleagues,

I am preparing a schedule for a client who is not sure for the project starting date. The schedule he wants is only for him to know the duration of the tasks.
So, he needs a generic schedule with no specific starting date, the only information needed is duration of tasks and overall duration.

On the timescale there are options for generic duration (weeks, days, etc. instead of calendar weeks, days, etc.). Can you please let me know if it is possible the generic scheduling to be depicted on the Gantt chart bars?

Thank you in advance for your help

      best regards

Hi Stergios, if you right click and select or double click the timeline header in the Gantt chart you have a couple of options for W1, W2 or Week 1, Week 2 under the Label drop-down. Hope that helps…

The Move Project start date click will also come in handy with this type of schedule, as after a few months the Gantt bars will be off the chart, in the past. Hit this button to put things back in view.
