I’ve created a master schedule with over 150 project plans within it. Each of those 150 project plans is assigned to a certain category. How to I select only the projects from a specific category and make a report?

E, I see two options depending on how the category is configured, (1) use a filter, or (2) open the individual project schedule(s). Let me know if there is more to it…

        Larry,

You’re awesome. It’s exactly what I needed to know, but how do I get it to show the subtasks (specifically milestones) within each category which are setup by Resource name.

Eric, that might be a little harder to troubleshoot. Are you using a filter? How is the category setup? Is the category assigned to all the tasks? Thanks…

Larry, I use the first filter process you suggested, but the category is setup by project Manager Name and the Name of the Division the project Manager oversees. Beneath that I’ve linked all of the projects for the year that particular division will work on. In this instance it’s 7 individual projects, each with very different timelines.
