When making tasks inactive, is the related cost excluded from the overall project cost as well? Also, are these inactive tasks still retrievable in previous saved baselines?

      Thanks

      Hi Angelique,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum:)

I don’t have Project Server or Professional, so I can’t give you a direct answer.  But why don’t you create a new file, add a few task and costs and try it out to see what happens,

      • Yes, the cost of inactive tasks is excluded from the overall cost.
      • Yes, if you inactivate the task After the the Baseline has been set. If you set a baseline after you Inactivate the task, then Baseline for those inactive tasks is NOT saved.
