I want to know how could I enter the if statement mentioned to the standard calendar in project. “If a holiday falls on a Saturday then Friday will be given as an extra day off, and if it falls on a Sunday, then Monday will be given as a day off.”

Does anybody can provide a auto solution to it.

Not the solution you’re looking for, but create a Project calendar based on the standard calendar. Manually scan it for any conditions, such as a holiday on a weekend, and manually mark the appropriate Friday/Monday as a non-working day. Not sure of the need for the “If” logic, but once you’ve marked the day(s) as non-working, all Project functions such as scheduling will work appropriately.

To the best of my knowledge, formulas only work on custom fields, they cannot be used to change default fields. Your best option is to follow Daryl’s advice.
