My organization is utilizing SharePoint as the platform in which our MS project files reside. The problem is that when I access the files via One Drive and make updates, it’s doesn’t always sync/update the files directly on SharePoint. We aren’t using the MS Project server so SharePoint is essentially acting as our server. Is they’re a work around to remedy this issue without migrating to the MS Project Server?
Eric, I’m not understanding both OneDrive and SharePoint synch issue. I believe since 2013 that when you sync to SharePoint it saves the file in the Assets library within the SharePoint site. Have you tried opening the file up from the SharePoint task list ribbon and does it work then?
