Is there an add-on or a macro that enables MS Project 2010 (Professional and Server) to show costs in multiple currencies. We are a global corporation and associates in different regions need to view their costs in different currencies. However, since global headquarters are located in North America, we have to have costs reflected in USD.

Not that I know of, especially if costs need to be reflected in USD. If they are managed in USD then what multi-currency features that are available won’t work in this case. One solution is to show those projects in the local currency using reports. Project Server combined with a couple of conversion tables (Project->currency and Currency conversion) and Power Pivot can provide reporting for you. Hope that helps. I can also help with that if you wish to discuss. Thanks…

We have something like that in use, already; however, finance is now telling us this will not work since the figures in SAP do not and will not agree with the figures in EPM Project Server reports due to conversion rounding in Excel and the fact that MS Project will only carry costs out to 2 digits and will round

Yep, they will never agree unless everything is done in local currency. What about using the multi-currency option in Project Server and then convert manually to USD? You understand that multi-currency will never match exactly so someone has to be off. You can enter costs in Project Server at the currency of choice, but then will need to use the same reporting the other way around to convert the cost to USD. Unfortunately Project Server only allows for entry in a local currency but does not have the capability to provide the conversion out of the box. Sorry, no perfect answer…just some thoughts.
