For as long as I’ve been PWA administrator, I’ve never advocated editing in browser so I’m sorry if this is a newb question. However, at this time, it seems easiest for some level of employees classified as “project managers” as we are only asking for 8-10 milestones from them. unfortunately, when I enter a new project, I am unable to enter anything in the schedule part of the browser until I save or publish that project from the MS Project client. Version MS Project/Project Server 2013 and I’ve tested on a project type with and without a workflow. We are provisioning sites. I tested permissions by removing all groups but administrator from my user and administrator has all yes’s checked. Tried in chrome and I.E.11.
Should I be able to add tasks to the schedule on a newly created project in PWA without first publishing or saving from the MS Project Client? Am I missing something simple? Thank you again.
