Does anyone out there have project 200 to 2010?
I have just purchased Project 2013 and can’t open my 4 old projects files created in Project 98 as it is no longer supported. Anyone with Project 2000 to 2010 can open them and re-save them in their format and then I’d be able to open them as project 2013 can open 2000 to 2010.
Anybody able to do me a favour or know of any other way around the problem

I think one option would be to save as an xls and import that way into 2013

OK, let us do it safe. Send me your files at ikocaman.pm[at]gmail.com, I’ll convert and send them back to you as soon as I can.

      Thanks Ismet
I did try the 2010 trial but all the links are now broken – only 2013 available.
I will take you up on your kind offer and have sent you the files – there are 2 mpp and 2 mpx – only little files but would have still taken me 2 days to re-write and link.
      Many thanks

You can download and install Project 2010 trial. Then open Project 98 files with Project 2010, and save them to the format of Project 2010 (or Project 2007). Project 2013 can open Project 2010 (and Project 2007) files.

*** Note that Project 2013 is usually installed after Project 2010, I did not test how it works the other way around, so just have full backup of the system before doing this.
