    When trying to add to the notes column in Project 2010, I have to click multiple times in the field so I can revise/add text. Is there an easier way to get the cursor in the field so I can revise text?

    Yes, and is true with any field in Project. It’s different than Excel. Here are a couple of suggestions:
    1. Add the entry bar: Go to File/Options. On the Display tab you’ll see a checkbox for Entry Bar. Select that and it will give you an entry bar below the ribbon like Excel.
    2. Use the split screen: From the Gantt or other task sheet, select View / then select the checkbox next to Details (in the Split View section). Then right click anywhere on the bottom half and select Notes. Now you can select a task on top and enter notes using the full notes field on the bottom.
