We are experiencing the client app (Project Professional 2010) hangs during normal opearation when PM working against plans stored on project server.
In one of cases, PM was trying to switch views (i.e. Gantt to Team Planner), and the blue circle just keeps on spinning. The only way to get out at this time is by closing down the application. To avoid the hanging issue, one will need to uncheck the option “Load Resource Assignment Summary” upon connecting to the Project Server 2010.
Please note that this is only of the situation that cause the application to hang.
