I am using MSOP 2010 professional

We are not capturing cost in our schedules.

What metrics can be reported on the schedule?

We are in the same situation, so sadly – not much. My colleague and I are developing a unique approach however and hope to release the information later this fall. We are not prepared to release that here as we are still testing our concept for accuracy. However, when complete I think it will help many of us in this situation and we will post information here.

If you are not managing cost than I’ll assume you are not managing actual work either. But, if you are tracking the schedule accurately than you have schedule metrics available to you. Current to baseline schedule by task, deliverable, and project.

      Hi Debra,

Thanks for your reply. I am very interested in what you come up with. Now all we can actually report is how we are doing to the baseline as far as hours goes. I have thought about entering $1 for each resource (no material or travel or ODC s in our schedules) just to get MSOP to calculate the variance.
