      1. What is the difference between Start and Scheduled Start and Finish and Scheduled Finish ? Which one should be displayed in my schedule ?
      2. There are blank rows in the resource sheet of my schedule. Should they be deleted ? Can we find them in a single click as sorting the resource by ID I found there are 1756 resources in the schedule I need to correct
      3. Is there a way to find out duplicate tasks and resources in my schedule with a formula in Graphical Indicators or so ?

      With Best Regards,

      Varun;
      For #1.
      Most of the time both sets of fields are the same. But there is a slight difference between MS Project scheduled tasks as Manually scheduled tasks.
      Auto Scheduled Tasks: Scheduled Start/Finish reflects the date calculated by Projects scheduling algorithm. Start/Finish will show the same date.
      Manually Scheduled Tasks: Scheduled fields work the same, showing the dates when Project would schedule them. However, Start/Finish show the manual start/finish dates as entered by the PM.
      As for which to display, Start/Finish will always show what the schedule shows and I would suggest using these.
      Also, for future reference, here’s a good place to find field definitions. I’m sure there are probably others as well.

      Hope that helps.

      And before putting percent complete, do we set a baseline first always. Is it compulsory ?
