      I can get the middle tier to display Q1 ’12 Q2 ’12 Q3 ’12 Q4 ’12

      But what I would like to see is Q1 FY12 Q2 FY12 Q3 FY12 Q4 FY12

Can I change the Timescale Display options?

Under calendar options (Tools Options Calendar in 2007 or File Schedule oprions in 2010) to tell MS Project that Financial year starts in July.  Under whatever Gantt style of view you use, you can then set up the middle timescale to be Q1, Q2 etc counting from July 1.  Top timescale will count the years.  I assume thats what you wanted.

      Martin,

I have followed your instructions and got to this stage: –

      Top Tier = Year ( 06 07 etc )

      Middle Tier = Quarter & Year ( Q1 ’06 Q2 ’06 etc )

Bottom Tier = Months ( Nov Dec Jan )

These values have all been selected from the Label: field in the Timescale dialog box.

What I am trying to do is add new values to the dropdown list in the Label: field. I would like to add the following values to this field: –

      Top Tier = Year ( FY06 FY07 etc )

      Middle Tier = Quarter & Year ( Q1 FY06 Q2 FY06 etc )

Bottom Tier = Months ( Nov Dec Jan )

      Regards

      Trevor D
